Lomographers are quite familiar with film swapping. I have no idea who invented it. That dude, or maybe lady, is a genius. Or maybe it was a person who accidentally shot on an exposed film. Who knows. Anyway, the practice is widely embraced by Lomographers, as it is fun, full of surprises, and a way to build a warm community.
Film swapping is basically a process where you just shoot normally with a brand new film and give this film to someone else. That person will load this exposed film which you already shot on, into his/her camera and begin shooting with it. So the results will be like two pictures overlapping each other. In short, film swapping is just an exchange between two exposed films.
Enough talking already. I'll just give you the results of my first time film swap.
The pictures are taken with Lomo LC-A+ on a Fuji Superia X-tra (35mm, 400 ISO), redscaled.

I still remember I shot a GUESS billboard in a Mall and it turned out being doubled with a karaoke-ing guy. Nice.

I love this picture. My part is totally underexposed, there's only a tiny-winy-bit of my doing in this picture. I can't even know what I was shooting just by looking. It's totally my friend's doing. I imagined him walking around Ace Hardware (which I often do) and just randomly shooting anything that attracted his attention (which I often do too). My guess is he also did MX in this one.

Aha.. The angels. My feeble attempt to copy mephisto19 & kokakoo double. I like the original so much I actually saved that picture into my cellphone and put it as my wallpaper for sometime. Imagine how I felt when I bumped into similar angels at La Piazza, a place very close to where I live. Hence the picture. It still doesn't put up with the original. But oh well.. :D

This is my personal favorite out of the whole roll. I just like it. I like the bulbs my friend shot. I like the world chatter in it. I like the light streaming from below.
The one thing I would say to a question why I love shooting with film is because I always have jitters - just like a small kid opening her Christmas present - whenever I scan my pictures. It's hard to accomplish that with digital. I feel like even a smaller kid with a bigger present awaiting for this result (half totally unknown to me) to come out.
Wonder who the other photographer is? It's Cinzinc. He's actually a buddy of a buddy, not totally a cyber friend. I was browsing through Lomonesia forum when I bumped into some very familiar faces in pictures shot with Diana Mini. I never thought I have a friend who owned a Diana Mini before but I finally found the culprit. Turned out he's a total analogue freak. :p
I had total fun. But I'd like this double to turn out good I was more careful in taking pictures. And it was my first time so I had limited knowledge of what to do. But everything I need to know Cinzinc told me so everything's good.
Ah. This is just one part of film swapping. I have one more roll that Cinzinc has finished shooting with but I haven't. Can't wait to finish it.
